BABY'S ROOM IN PROCESS

Working hard on the baby's room. I just finished making the quilt, window treatments and bumpers, and I am thinking about making a dust ruffle. We have a few more items to get together before it will be ready for our new little one.

Yes, it is an adult looking baby's room, but Kurt and I figure that the baby won't care what the room looks like until it is older and we will go all out on the big boy/big girl room.

34 WEEKS & MOVING ALONG

6 weeks remaining...hard to believe that it is moving so quickly.

The baby and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for a normal check-up. Only a few more appointments left as well.

Kurt and I also finished our childbirth class on Wednesday and are "officially" ready to be parents! HA! It was an experience-- especially watching the birthing video from 1984 that showed everything. Wish I would have skipped that section, ignorance is bliss.

A BIGGER BELLY

The belly is officially out and about. Everyone can see it and feel it- especially when I hug someone. There is no more hiding it.

At 30 weeks, 3/4 of the way, the baby is really starting to take over my stomach. You can see my stomach distort and move when the baby rolls and stretches. The little one likes to let me know that it is in there and in control!

Kurt and I are working to put the room together and prepare our house for the new addition. We have the baby's furniture, now we just have to get all the "little" stuff- and there is a lot of it- before the room will be ready.
