LANCE'S FIRST VACATION...

A couple of weeks back, we took a trip to Whitehall, Michigan to spend some time with family- Lance's first official vacation.


We had a wonderful time at the Kniff Cottage. Not only did we get to hang out with the entire Nordquist clan, but KJ got to ride in a boat and watch Kierra and Brad wake board and water ski, we all got to swim a lot in White Lake and at the yacht club, and on the day we left, Lake Michigan had some of the best waves ever. Mama and Daddy got to do some wave jumping while the boys played on the beach.

We always look forward to Whitehall. Great company, lots of stuff to do and memories to last a lifetime.

OVER THE HUMP...

Amazingly, Lance is already 4 months old and out of the newborn stage that can be so draining. He is a bundle full of smiles and drool. He has grown into a very mellow baby, making his mama and daddy so happy since they have a ton of other stuff on their plates.

This last month was a real big one for the little man's development. He rolled over to the right from his back to his stomach. He can't roll over to the left yet because he gets stuck on his arm, but it will come soon. He got his first tooth (bottom right) and he really started grabbing and holding onto objects. It is hard to pry a toy, or my hair, out of his wet, little hands.


It seems, too, that KJ just realized that Lance is going to be a plaything for him. The word "gentle" seems to get as much play as "no" right now. I do think that KJ really loves his little bro. I hope they can have a relationship like I have with my brothers.
