FIRST GRADE, FIRST DAY...

When KJ was a baby, my mom told me that I wouldn't believe how fast time moved and that KJ would be in kindergarten before I knew it.  Well, that day has come and gone and my little guy is already in first grade!  We took all his brothers to school to wish him well, and despite an allergic reaction, a swollen eye and losing his first tooth, he was still the most handsome first grader ever!

Just look at all my handsome fellas...

FOUR IS FUN...

So hard to believe that my babies are this big already, but we had family pictures last week and snapped a quick pic of my growing bunch.

Could they be any cuter?  I'll answer- nope...

MOTHER'S DAY LOVE...

I asked the boys for one gift this Mother's Day, a nice picture of all my boys.  It took some convincing, but we ultimately got a decent picture with only a few threats of no dessert or video games.

The mom to 4 boys.  Each one is different and awesome, and I cannot wait to see what they do as they grow.

GOD BLESS EVAN...

We celebrated a special day on Sunday the 16th, Evan's baptism at St. Clement's of Rome in Romeo, Michigan.  Everyone came into town to have some fun with us and the boys did a great job for being at the church for over two hours.  It was awesome to see all our family and old college friends.

Evan barely moved when the water was poured on his head, opting to stare at the ceiling.  KJ and Rece were really interested in the whole process, while Lance was nowhere to be found.  After the baptism was finished, we headed down to Utica for a dinner with all of our guests.  It was a really great day, that went by super fast.

BIGGER BY THE DAY...

Evan finally made it to the doctor for his two month check-up and there is no doubt that he is a healthy, well fed boy.  At more than 15 pounds, he isn't the biggest 2 month old that we have had, but he is holding his own.

Not only is he a good eater, he is an incredible baby.  He is so happy and sweet.  I get smiles and coos from him all the time.  I think that he is so content because he feels the love around him.  His brothers cannot hold him, kiss him and talk to him enough.  As soon as I put him down, he has an older brother hovering over him, ready to take care of his every need.

In the past month, Evan has found his hands, is starting to push his butt in the air when he is laying on his back, is getting great head control during tummy time and has even slept for 11 hour stretches at night, from 7:30 to 6:30.

We are really starting to feel that our family puzzle is complete.  It has only been a couple of months, but I can't imagine our lives without our new little guy.

ONE MONTH, ONE SWEET BABY...

A lot has happened in the past month with our family.  We celebrated our first Christmas as a family of six and, while it was exhausting with a newborn, it was amazing to watch our boys enjoy the holiday, each other and our extended family.

Even more exciting, our littlest man, Evan, turned 1 month old on the 11th of January.  It is hard to believe that this will be the last time we have a 1 month old.  He is the sweetest little boy with an easy going temperament.  Aside from a few short fussy periods during the early morning and early evening, he is happy when he is fed, dry and held.

It is safe to say that everyone is in love with Evan.  The boys fight to see who can hold him first and are constantly giving him kisses.  I often feel his head and it is literally wet from the lick kisses that Rece gives to him.  They love to talk to him, telling him that "it's ok, Ev", and telling me that he is hungry.

I am truly blessed to have four healthy babies that love each other and want to spend time with one another.  I can't wait to see what the next month brings.
