WHAT A DIFFERENCE...

...a few days make. From a wobbly little walk to moving around the house with a purpose, Lance is officially a walker! Now if KJ would only let him walk without purposely running into him. Oh, brothers.

TWO MOVERS?...

It won't be long and Lance will be toddling along with his big brother. He is practicing his walking skills more and more each day.

MY SWEETS!

I may be a bit biased, but these are the cutest boys in the world! Imagine if they both looked at the camera...

10 MONTHS, 100th POST

My sweet little baby,
Lance, is ten months old and celebrated his big day by taking his first steps to his mama. The look on his adorable little face as he waddled two steps toward me was unforgettable. Where did the time go?

He has been busy learning new things from his big brother. I find them together, into all kinds of interesting things, on a daily basis. They both love the laundry room!

Lance is a fearless little man, with one hard head. I am always shocked to see the lickin' that he can take, get right back up and not say a peep. The boys should be a TON of fun this summer. Two little fellas out and about, going crazy in the neighborhood. Can't wait.

9 MONTHS, AWESOME...

What happened to my baby? Lance shot past 9 months a few days ago and hasn't looked back. His sassy side is starting to show, as he learns to do more and more things. I think he knows that he has some independence and is taking advantage of it.

This month was full of ups and downs. Lance gave us some great highs with his first word, "DaDa", tons of smiles, increased mobility by climbing stairs and moving from his infant carrier to a real car seat. It was also filled with some lows after he gave us quite a scare with a seizure and a night in the hospital. All worked out in the end, and we are so happy to have our beautiful boy healthy again!

Can't wait to see what the next month brings our way!

A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER...

We had a great Christmas. The boys seemed to understand what was going on, especially KJ. He was so excited to see the presents that Santa brought him, and to spend time with his extended family. Lance was just excited to try and copy his brother.

We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma Schuster's after a mass at St. Clement's. Mass was a lot of work for me and Kurt, but it was good to go. The boys got a lot of cousin time and presents at Grandma's house.

Christmas was spent playing with Santa's presents and with the Nordquist family. We did a big breakfast and snacked the rest of the day, so we were all incredibly full at the end of the day. It was a great couple of days!
